Fun Beverage is a licensed, independent distributor of alcoholic beverages serving Northwest Montana. The company has been operating since 1981, dedicated to representing responsibly developing brands and serving its customers to the best of its abilities.
They have a broad and diverse product portfolio and work with suppliers and licensed retailers, distributing over 3000 different items to their clients. Fun Beverage also serves its communities, practicing social responsibility and education.
History of Fun Beverage Inc. Distributing
Fun Beverage, Inc. was founded in 1981 by Paul Wachholz and Dale Collins. The two business partners bought B&B Distributing, established in 1964; they later acquired Frontier Coors and Ralston Wines, spreading their business to more counties.
In 1998 and 1999, Fun Beverage, Inc. bought other local distributors, Vehrs Mountain States Beverage, Lee Distributing, and CL Wines. They became the largest locally owned and operated beer and wine distributor in the northwestern part of Montana.
Today, Fun Beverage, INC. is headquartered in Kalispell and operates in Flathead, Lincoln, Lake, Missoula, and Glacier counties, in the towns of Whitefish, Lakeside, Columbia Falls, Bigfork, Libby, Troy, Swan Lake, Eureka, East Glacier, Babb, and Glacier National Park. They are present with 84% of the wine market and 69% of the beer market share in Northwest Montana.
The Fun Beverage portfolio is very fun (pun intended) and includes beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks. They have domestic beers, imported beers, ciders, craft beers, flavored malts, Montana-made beers, hard seltzers, and ready-to-drink beverages. Their wine portfolio includes products from domestic and foreign manufacturers. Also, non-alcoholic beverages include water, sparkling waters, flavored soft drinks, sodas, energy drinks, coffees, teas, kombucha, non-alcoholic beers, and juices.
