History of Hayden Beverage Company
The Hayden Beverage company story initially began in 1934, a year after the prohibition ended, with the Boise Sales Company acquiring the rights to the Olympia Beer distribution in Boise. The founder of the Hayden Beverage Company was John Hayden, who took over the Olympia/Heineken distributorship in 1970.
The changing alcohol-related laws facilitated the marketing and distribution of wine, making it easier for the company to spread its business. In 1985, the company celebrated a milestone of reaching 50 employees, and in 1991, they hit $10 million in annual sales.
By 2000, they surpassed the 1 million case mark, and by 2010, they grew to employ over 200 people. The company passed the 2 million cases mark in 2011, and by 2014, they achieved revenue of over $100 million.
As an interesting fact, the Hayden Beverage Company celebrated a 10-year, 20-year, 30-year, and 40-year employee anniversary in one month. They have a strong dedication towards the future and have excellent plans in place. The company has not missed a single day in shipping orders.
