According to the Wine Intelligence’s Global Compass 2019 report, the U.S. remains at the top of the list as the most attractive wine market in the world. News from Compass 2019 explained that more people are spending a greater amount of money on wine than ever before. Along with the U.S. are Canada, France, Germany, and The Netherlands making up the top five. Wine Intelligence reported that the increase in imported wines and positive economic performance have raised the Compass rating for countries in Eastern Europe such as Romania, Poland, Hungary and Slovenia.
