Experts have recently reported which states drink the most wine- both in volume and per capita. The highest wine volume are in states such as California, Florida, New York, Texas, and Illinois, which is no surprise as those are also the states with the highest population in the US. On the contrary, the least populous states in the US are Wyoming, Vermont, Alaska, North and South Dakota, but when it comes to wine consumption, Vermont is the only one that does not fall on that list, meaning Vermont is certainly drinking more than its fair share of wine.
