The COVID-19 lockdown initially caused many alcohol consumers to shift their patterns towards more bulk-buying and name brands. Beverage Dynamic spoke to retailers across the country to see if those patterns have held steady as the US begins reopening. Retailers reported that name brands are still doing well, year-over-year sales are mostly still high, and sales of craft beverages are beginning to pick up again.
