Total beverage alcohol imports, including bulk and packaged, grew 5.3 percent by value over the last twelve months and grew 5.5 percent by value over the last three months. 25 percent of all imported beverage alcohol by value came from Mexico over the last twelve months.
Imported beer grew 3 percent by volume and grew 5.2 percent by value over the last twelve months. Surprisingly, 65.9 percent of imported beer by value comes from Mexico. Imported spirits grew just under one percent by volume and 5.1 percent by value. Imported wine grew 2.6 percent by volume and 7.5 percent by value over the last twelve months.
