The latest version of COLAs online, an electronic system for obtaining alcohol beverage label approval, will be released next week. A few changes and updates have been incorporated based on feedback received from reviewing the reasons for correction and from interactions with the TTB staff. The TTB’s goal is to assist users in submitting all applications correctly on the first attempt and to avoid the need for follow up and corrections.
Changes include adding dropdown menus rather than entering free-text, revised questions in regards to formulas and a new hyperlink to the TTB’s “Which Alcohol Beverages Require Formula Approval?” webpage.
