The Well Crafted Wine & Beverage Co. was established in 2010 on the foundations set by Travis Vernon, and the former company called The Spanish Wine Importers. The original idea came to Travis while he was a student at the University of Virginia and he visited Valencia, Spain.

He got the idea to help small-time wine producers distribute their products to the market, starting by importing small-batch, family-owned, artisanal products. The interest in the products grew, and the company’s clients began inquiring about more and more products from lesser-known regions, with a focus on small sourcing philosophy.

The team branched out, and they now source products from South Africa, Argentina, Italy, Virginia, and the US West Coast. All the products carried by Well Crafted Wine & Beverages are from limited production and are hand-crafted, sourced directly from the source. The company focuses on employing staff that is knowledgeable, professional, and committed to continuing the company’s core value of excellent service.

Today, the company works with restaurants, hotels, and other establishments interested in serving wines and beverages from family estates and small-time manufacturers. The product portfolio includes US products and wines and beverages from Spain, France, Italy, Australia, South America, South Africa, and New Zealand.

At Well Crafted Wine & Beverage Co., they also run a charitable foundation with an emphasis on providing access to clean drinking water to people in need. They do this by donating a percentage of their net profits each month to developing clean water solutions for people in need.
