The History of Mountain State Beverage

Mountain State Beverage, Inc was founded in September 2016 in Summersville, West Virginia. Initially named Johnson Brothers for its founders, the company was renamed Mountain State Beverage, as they operate state-wide and wanted a name that would encompass the whole state. Still, you will find them as Johnson Brothers on social media.

Today, Mountain State Beverage has over 100 employees operating out of their 180.000 square foot warehouse in Summersville. The company’s portfolio is very appealing, as they’ve focused on craft beers, distributing over 20 domestic craft beer brands with 245 craft beers.

However, they also have an extensive wine list on their product portfolio from different wine regions across the globe, with over 2300 wines. To complete its product portfolio, Mountain State Beverage also distributes a long and varied list of spirits from different countries. Famous spirits brands on their offer include tequila, vodka, scotch whisky, and more.
