The History

Lohr Distributing was founded in 1964 in St. Louis when the company began as the city’s exclusive distributor of Anheuser-Busch products. The company expanded its services and product portfolio, including wine, spirits, and other beverages, and its service area across Missouri. 

About ten years ago, the company split its operation into two divisions: Lohr Distributing and Lohr Wine and Spirits. The Lohr Wine and Spirits focuses on selling wines, spirits, and other beverages, while Lohr Distributing focuses only on beer distribution. While the two Lohr divisions operate from separate facilities with separate employees, they share a common goal focused on family tradition and excellent service.

Among the products you’ll find at Lohr Distributing are domestic and imported beers – over 350 beer brands, about 1600 wines, and 150 spirits brands.
