DeCrescente employs about 400 people at present, and they still operate from the same headquarters established way back in 1948.

Back in 1948, a certain man from Mechanicville in New York began a venture that has continued to grow and is now owned by the fourth generation of his descendants. This man was Angelo DeCrescente, who began distributing beverages with his truck. He began with only a few brands of beer and later spread out to wine and spirits also.
The driving goal was to treat his customers with respect and have pride in his work. He continued to find success by treating everyone with respect and having strong relationships with both his suppliers and customers. He was very dedicated and persistent, and along with his son Carmine, was able to grow his company into one of the largest wine, beer, and spirits distributors in New York State.
The company was led by Carmine DeCrescente for a long time, and later the reins were taken over by Carmine Junior known as CJ. Today, the DeCrescente Distribution Company is led by Matthew and Carmine III, both of CJ’s sons. They hold the same family values of leading by example and imploring progressive business strategies.
They have retained their market share of being one of the best wine, beer, and spirits distributors in New York State. Today, they have over 400 employees and on top of everything, they have been voted as one of New York’s best companies to work for.
