History of Ace Distributing
Ace Distributing was founded in 1948 by two brothers, Jimmie and Nick Spagnola. They sold the company to the current owners, Jeff Reeder and Tim Strickler, in 1989 and were joined by another partner, Gabriel Hammond, in 2012.
Representing over 350 brands with more than 2000 products and over 50 supplier partners, Ace Distributing currently has a network of over 1400 retail customers across eleven counties in southern Pennsylvania.
Besides the large operation, Ace Distributing has kept the local business feel, and they continue cooperating on a community level with everyone. The company is active in local charities, and they participate or donate to various causes like Local First Responders, United Way of York, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Toys for Tots, Charity Golf Outings with local organizations, Charities that support animals like UDS and ASPCA, and Adopt-A-Highway with seasonal clean-up events.
The company has served the people of 11 Pennsylvania counties for close to 75 years, and they’ve become a prominent part of the community. Ace Distributing has also received the MolsonCoors “President’s Award” in 2019.
