The House of Representatives is planning to vote on changes to the Paycheck Protection Program, a Small Business Administration loan program. The bill would extend the amount of time businesses have to rehire employees beyond the June 30 deadline and extend the loan forgiveness period, as some businesses are unable to reopen as quickly as others. The changes are expected to receive bipartisan support in both the House and Senate.
