With many football teams forbidding fans in the stadium, and in some cases the parking lot, consumers are turning to a different form of tailgating in 2020. In places where tailgating isn’t allowed, some are turning to “homegating.” To tap into the trend, retailers are stocking up on the homegating necessities, while equipment companies are renting out homegating packages.
