Constellation Brands recently purchased a minority stake in Durham Distillery, makers of first-class Conniption Gin. Durham Distillery announced that they will be opening a cocktail bar after Gov. Roy Cooper signed a bill expanding North Carolina’s liquor laws. The distillery has started canning cocktails like gin and tonic and rose spritz in addition to its award-winning pair of Conniption Gins, an American dry and navy strength. Durham Distillery has plans to lead in their category as their deal with Constellation will allow for new equipment and open doors for distribution deals and a national market.
