The Cognac industry increased record growth with volume and value by 8.2 percent and 5.4 percent in 2017 to 2018. The Bureau National Interprofessional du Cognac (BNIC) demonstrated that Cognac exports have continued to grow throughout the last 4 years reaching $3.6 billion in sales. The US continues to be Cognac’s largest market with shipping of 86.5 million bottles in 2017 to 2018.
