Total beverage alcohol imports (both bulk and packaged) declined by -5% in value from February to April. Packaged wine and spirits imports both declined in value by -5.2% and -8.1%, but bulk import values for the two categories increased by 22.3% for spirits and 6.6% for wine.
Total beverage alcohol exports (both bulk and packaged) grew by 9.3% in value over the three month period. Exported packaged spirits grew by 24.9% in value, but volumes declined by -27% for the past three months. Conversely, exported packaged wine declined by -8.1% in value, but volume grew by 4.3%.
