Last week was the 42nd Annual Impact Marketing Seminar in New York. The event showcased industry leaders, including manufacturers, distributors and retailers. Moderation in Consumption was an important marketing message, but the overall tone of the Seminar was that Industry growth is strong.
There was an overall enthusiasm for the growth in the industry, especially towards the premium and super premium sector. Global consumers seem to be drawn to the image of high quality and authenticity more so than ever before. The concept of “luxury” was a key talking point among many top executives attending the seminar.
