The Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board approved a rule allowing customers to place curbside pickup on online orders for beer and wine from grocery stores allowing it to be brought out and loaded on to customer vehicles. Any purchases of beer and wine must be registered with the retailer and be “age verified” prior to ordering beer or wine. The retailer must have designated parking areas for the curbside pickup.
Retails giant Walmart requested curbside delivery of alcohol in other states.
